Hexarelin
Also known as: Examorelin
One of the most potent GH-releasing peptides available, with unique cardioprotective properties that distinguish it from other secretagogues.
Overview
Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone releasing peptide (GHRP) that produces one of the strongest GH releases of any peptide in its class. It acts on both the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus to stimulate growth hormone secretion. What makes Hexarelin particularly interesting beyond its GH-releasing capacity is its demonstrated cardioprotective effects. Research has shown that Hexarelin can protect cardiac tissue from ischemia-reperfusion injury, improve cardiac function in heart failure models, and reduce cardiac fibrosis.
These effects appear to be mediated through cardiac GHS receptors independent of GH release. However, Hexarelin is known to cause desensitization with prolonged use — GH release diminishes after approximately 4-6 weeks of continuous administration. It also elevates cortisol and prolactin more than Ipamorelin, making it less selective but more potent.
Mechanism of Action
Agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a) in both the pituitary and hypothalamus. Also activates cardiac GHS receptors, providing direct cardioprotective effects independent of GH release. Stimulates GH release through both GHRH-dependent and independent pathways.

Known Interactions
The following interactions have been documented for Hexarelin. Always consult a healthcare professional before combining compounds.
Synergistic (1)
Hexarelin (GHRP) paired with CJC-1295 (GHRH) provides robust GH release. Note: Hexarelin may elevate cortisol and prolactin more than Ipamorelin.
